Soliloquy:
when character is thinking for a long time and changes his mind many times. Ends with a heroic couplet.
Heroic couplet:
at the end of a solilioquy means decision has been made, two lines in iambic pentameter that rhyme
Hear it not Duncan for it is a knell
That summons thee to heaven, or to hell
Foil:
Character that follows the same path as the pretagonist but makes different choices. Ex: Banquo and Macduff to Macbeth.
